July 9, 2025
Assault (GBI – Hands & Feet) – Suspect Arrested
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Fillmore Metro Passenger station regarding an assault call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a several witnesses who told Deputies a male adult (suspect) and a female adult were arguing on the platform. Another male adult (victim) intervened in an attempt to deescalate the incident. The suspect punched the victim in the head multiple times. The victim fell to the ground unconscious. Pasadena Fire Department responded to the location and transported the victim to a nearby hospital to be treated for his injuries. The suspect was later detained by the Pasadena Police Department. Deputy personnel responded to their location took custody of the suspect. The suspect was arrested and booked the above charge.
Grand Theft (Copper Wire) – No Suspect information
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Florence Metro Passenger station, Los Angeles regarding a grand theft call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted the Metro Supervisor, who stated that an unknown person had taken 140 feet of copper wire approximately 1056 feet north of Nadeau Street. The supervisor stated it would cost $10,000 to replace and repair the copper wire. No suspect information is available at this time.
Vandalism (Felony) – Suspect Arrested
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to La Brea Avenue & Kelso Street, in the city of Inglewood regarding a vandalism just occurred, call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted the bus operator (witness), who stated an adult male (suspect) became was arguing with the operator and became angry. The suspect pounded on the driver’s side window causing it to shatter. The suspect was detained at the location. The operator positively identified the suspect as the person who vandalized the bus. The suspect was arrested and booked for the above charge. The Metro supervisor was unable to provide an estimate to repair/replace the window at this time.
July 8, 2025
Assault with a Deadly Weapon (knife) – Suspect Outstanding
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to a local hospital in West Los Angels regarding an assault with a deadly weapon (knife) call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a male adult (victim) who stated while he was sitting on a bench at the Culver City Metro Passenger station. Another male adult (suspect) was seated next to him. When the victim stood up the suspect without warning stabbed him with a six-inch pocketknife three times. The victim stated there was a brief struggle during which time the victim threw the suspect’s backpack and cell phone onto the tracks. The suspect fled the area on an eastbound train. The victim walked to the hospital for medical treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. The is no suspect info at this time. The suspect is still outstanding.
Strong Arm Robbery – Suspect Not in Custody
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Crenshaw Metro Passenger station regarding a robbery just occurred call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted a female adult (victim), who stated while she was inside the bus a male adult (suspect) approached her from behind and forcibly grabbed her cell phone from her hand. The victim followed the suspect onto the train and ultimately was able to retrieve her phone. Once the train stopped at the Willowbrook Metro Passenger station, the victim exited the train and began to walk towards Willowbrook Avenue. The victim then felt the suspect push her from behind, causing her to almost fall. The suspect then ran towards Wilmington Avenue and out of view. The victim refused any medical treatment. The suspect is still outstanding. No suspect information is available at this time.
Attempted Grand Theft (Copper Wire) – Suspect arrested
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Firestone Metro Passenger Station regarding a possible grand theft call for service. TSB Crime analyst was conducting video surveillance and observed a male adult (suspect) on camera break the concrete at the location to access copper wire from the track. Upon arrival, Deputies detained the suspect. The suspect made incriminating statements to the deputies. The suspect was arrested and booked for the above charge.
July 7, 2025
Battery on Metro Employee – Suspect Arrested
Transit Services Bureau (TSB ) Deputies responded to the Santa Monica Metro Passenger Station regarding a battery call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted Metro Security Officers, who were already detaining a male adult (suspect). Metro Security Officers stated the suspect was told he had to pay to enter the station or leave. The suspect then spat on the victim’s face. Deputies were able to arrest the suspect for the above charges.

Grand Theft (Copper Wire) – No Suspect information
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the area of 92nd Street & Graham Avenue, Los Angeles regarding a grand theft call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted the Metro Supervisor, who stated that an unknown person had taken 101 feet of copper wire between 92nd Street & Graham Avenue. The supervisor stated it would cost $7050 to replace and repair the copper wire. No suspect information is available at this time.
Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Knife) – Suspect Arrested
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the area of La Pier Drive & Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills regarding an assault with a deadly weapon (knife) call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted a male adult (victim) who stated while on the bus a male adult (suspect) walked past him and brushed his arm along the victim’s arm. The suspect without provocation produced a knife and held it in his right hand. The suspect while holding the knife in his hand slapped the victim 5 times in the face. The suspect exited the bus and was detained approximately 2 blocks away at Maple Avenue & Wilshire Boulevard by Beverly Hills Police Department. The victim did not sustain any injuries and refused medical treatment. The victim positively identified the suspect as the person who assaulted him. The suspect was transported and booked for the above charge.
July 4, 2025
Battery on Police Officer (Hands & Feet) – Suspect Arrested
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Santa Monica Metro Passenger Station regarding the end of line train sweeps call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted a male adult (suspect), who was asleep on one of the trains. After Deputies woke up the suspect, he initially walked out of the train but attempted to re-board the train. Deputy personnel then attempted to escort the suspect off the platform at which time the suspect attempted to strangle one of the Deputies (victim). Deputies conducted a takedown and used control holds to bring the suspect down to the ground. Santa Monica Police Department personnel responded to the location and assisted in handcuffing the suspect without further incident. Santa Monica Fire responded to the location and treated the suspect. Deputy personnel transported the suspect to a local hospital for further treatment. The suspect was arrested and booked for the above charge.
July 3, 2025
Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Wooden 2 x 4) – Suspect Arrested
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Slauson Metro Passenger Station regarding a male hitting another male with a “2 x 4” call for service. Upon arrival, Deputy personnel saw a male adult (suspect) standing at the end of the platform. Deputies made verbal commands to the suspect, and the suspect began to walk away from the Deputies. Deputy personnel pursued the suspect until he hid underneath the stairs of the platform. The suspect attempted to kick and punch in the direction of the Deputies. The taser was employed and the suspect was placed into custody without further incident. Los Angeles County Fire responded to the location and transported the suspect to a local hospital for further medical treatment. The victim was located at a nearby convenience store and was treated for his injuries. The suspect was arrested and booked for the above charge.
