CONSULAR CREDENTIAL PORTAL
Applicant Prerequisites
ATTENTION: You may proceed with applying for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Consular Credential if you meet all of the following criteria:
- Are currently employed as a consular officer tasked with the consular function of assisting your nationals in detention
- Are posted to a consulate located in Los Angeles County, and Los Angeles County is included in your consular district
- Hold a valid A-1 visa and unexpired US Department of State Consular Identification Card
Application Process
- Complete and submit an online application form
- Receive an email receipt with additional requirements
- Respond with required documents
- Await issuance of credential
