Sexual Battery – Suspect Outstanding

TSB deputies responded to Fillmore Metro Passenger Station regarding a Sexual Battery call for service. Deputies contacted a female adult (victim) who stated she was on the northbound train when the suspect sat next to her.  The male adult (suspect) grabbed the victim’s breast and rubbed her thigh.  The victim exited the train and ran off the platform to a safe location. The victim was not injured and declined any medical attention. Deputies searched the area for the suspect but met with negative results.

Battery – Suspect Outstanding

TSB Deputies responded to Florence Avenue and Lakewood Boulevard, in the city of Downey regarding a battery call for service. Deputies arrived and contacted a male adult (Victim), who stated that while singing on the bus, a male adult (suspect) approached him and threw a cup of iced coffee in his face, saying, “Nobody feels how you feel.” The suspect then exited the bus and fled southbound on Lakewood Boulevard. The victim complained of pain on his face. Downey Fire responded; however, the victim refused any medical treatment and was released. The suspect is outstanding.

Assault on Metro Security Officer – Suspect Arrested

TSB Deputies responded to Long Beach Metro Passenger station regarding an Assault on Metro Security Officer call for service.  Deputies arrived and contacted a male adult (victim), who stated a male adult (suspect) was onboard the westbound Metro train (Greenline), which had departed the Norwalk Station.  The victim confronted the suspect to advise him not to smoke while on the Metro train.  The suspect became angry and pulled a knife from his backpack.   The suspect pointed the knife at the victim and said, “You don’t want to lose your life over this.”  The victim feared for his safety and backed away.  The suspect exited the train at the Long Beach Metro Passenger Station.  Deputies searched the area and detained the suspect.  The suspect was positively identified by the victim and subsequently arrested.

Sexual Battery – Suspect arrested

TSB Deputies responded to Lakewood Metro Passenger Station, regarding a sexual assault call for service. Upon arrival, they detained a male adult (subject) who matched the description in the call. TSB Deputies then contacted a female adult (victim), who told Deputies the suspect followed her into the east elevator and forcibly placed his hand down her pants, touching her buttocks while they were in the elevator.  The suspect was arrested. LA County Fire responded to the scene. However, the victim refused medical attention.

Assault on Metro Security – Suspect Arrested

TSB Deputies responded to Downtown Santa Monica Metro Passenger Station regarding an Assault on Metro Security personnel. Deputies arrived and contacted Metro Security (victim), who stated a male adult (suspect) was attempting to board a Metro train without paying the fare. Metro Security instructed the suspect to pay for his fare or leave the property. The suspect became angered and assaulted the victim by punching him in the face. The victim defended himself by punching back. The victim also used pepper spray and a baton to overcome the suspects’ resistance. Additional Metro Security personnel assisted and overcame the suspect’s resistance and placed him into handcuffs. The suspect was arrested.

Possession of a Weapon (Sword) on Transit Property – Suspect Arrested

TSB deputies responded to Slauson Metro Passenger Station for reports of an individual brandishing a machete on the platform call for service. Upon arrival, deputies located a male adult (suspect) in possession of a large sword. The suspect was detained without further incident. The suspect was arrested.
