Suspicious Person – Suspect Arrested
TSB Deputies responded to a suspicious person’s call for service at the Norwalk Metro Passenger Station. Deputies contacted an adult male (suspect) matching the description on the call. As Deputies detained the suspect, he applied control holds by grabbing the suspect’s arms from behind. The suspect resisted Deputies efforts momentarily while being handcuffed. The suspect did not have any injuries, nor did he complain of any pain. No deputy personnel were injured either. Once the deputies ended their investigation, it was determined the suspect did not have any weapons, drugs or contraband on his person. It was also determined the suspect was not under the influence of any narcotics or alcohol. The suspect was released in the field without incident.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon– Suspect Arrested
TSB Deputies responded to Willowbrook Metro Passenger Station regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call for service. Deputies contacted adult female (Victim) who stated that an adult male (Suspect) brandished a handgun while commuting on the train. The Victim further stated an argument between two males started as they approached Wilmington Metro Passenger Station. The suspect produced a handgun and pointed it at the other male and towards the direction of the victim. The victim stated out of fear she yelled at the suspect not to shoot. The suspects left the train and fled westbound. The Suspects was later identified and arrested.

Persons with a knife – Suspect Arrested
While conducting train rides from Artesia Metro Passenger Station to Del Amo Metro Passenger Station, TSB Deputies observed an adult male (suspect) retrieve a concealed kitchen knife from his pants pocket while seated in the middle of the train then placed it in a blue shopping cart between his legs. Deputies detained the suspect pending a dirk or dagger investigation. While being detained a Deputy involved use of force occurred. Deputies were able to maintain control of the suspect and place him in hand cuffs without further incident. Suspects was arrested.

Vandalism – Suspect Arrested
TSB Deputies responded to La Brea Avenue / Regent Street, in the City of Inglewood regarding a vandalism call for service. Deputies contacted the bus operator who stated as he was pulling away from his stop, he saw a male adult (suspect) approach the front door of the bus and attempt to gain access. However, the bus operator refused to open the door. The suspect became agitated and picked up a nearby rock and smashed the driver’s side window of the bus. The damage is estimated at approximately $1,900.00. The suspect was arrested on scene.
Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Unknow Weapon) – Suspect Outstanding
TSB station was notified by Long Beach PD of a person exiting the train a Willow Metro Passenger Station with a stab wound to his lower abdomen. Long Beach PD responded along with Long Beach Fire and transported the adult male (victim) to a local hospital. TSB Deputies responded to the local hospital and contacted the victim who was uncooperative and refused to provide any information regarding the incident and/or injuries. The victim was treated for his injuries and remains in stable condition.
Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Suspect Outstanding
TSB Deputies responded to the Double Tree Hotel in El Segundo regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call for service, that occurred somewhere between Long Beach Metro Passenger Station and Crenshaw Metro Passenger Station. Deputies contacted an adult male (Victim) who stated he observed an adult female (Suspect 1) behaving erratically. The victim began a verbal exchange with suspect 1. The exchange then turned physical when another adult female (Suspect 2) then approached the victim and began to punch him in the face. Suspect 1 then began to also punch the victim in the face and upper body. The victim attempted to defend himself by fighting back.
Another adult male (Suspect 3) observed the fight and started to kick and punch the victim. The victim was able to exit the train at Crenshaw Passenger Station but was not sure if the suspects remained on the train or exited. The victim then left the location. El Segundo Fire responded to the location to treat the victim. The victim refused medical treatment. The suspects are still outstanding.
Vandalism – Suspect Outstanding
TSB Deputies responded to Artesia Metro Bus Stop regarding a vandalism call for service. Deputies contacted the bus operator who stated as he was pulling away from his stop, he saw a male adult (suspect) approach the front door of the bus and punch the glass of the door. The glass shattered and the bus operator stopped the bus. The suspect then fled the location and out of view. The suspect caused approximately $65.99 dollars in damage.
Assault with a Deadly Weapon– Suspect Arrested
TSB Deputies responded to Long Beach Metro Passenger Station regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call for service. Deputies contacted an adult male (Victim) who stated he parked his vehicle in the east parking lot of the Long Beach Passenger Station parking lot. The victim went to the ticket vending machines to put money on his transit access pass card, while his wife and daughters remained inside their vehicle. While the victim was at the ticket vending machine, an adult male (suspect) approached the vehicle and demanded money. The wife remained in the car and refused to give the suspect money.
The suspect became angry and struck their car twice with the metal rod, causing approximately $1,200 in damage. As the victim returned to his vehicle, he was approached by the suspect and without warning struck him one time on the left side of his face, with an 8-foot-long metal rod that was sharpened at one end, causing an approximate 2-3” puncture wound to his left cheek. The suspect then fled from the location. Assisting deputies responded and relocated the suspect at which time a short foot pursuit ensued. The suspect was arrested. The victim sustained non-life-threatening cuts to his face and was transported to local Hospital for further medical evaluation.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Suspect Outstanding
TSB Deputies responded to Crenshaw Metro Passenger Station regarding an assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies contacted an adult female (Victim) who stated she was approached by a male adult (Suspect) who began punching her in the upper body, face and elbows. The suspect also attempted to strangle her. The suspect fled the location. The victim refused further medical treatment. The suspect is outstanding.
Assault with a Deadly Weapon– Suspect Arrested
TSB Deputies responded to Willowbrook Metro Passenger Station regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call for service. The call indicated an adult male (suspect) had pulled a steel knife and threatened train riders. Deputies responded and contacted the suspect at which time a Deputy involved use of force occurred. Deputies were able to place the suspect in handcuffs without further incident. LA County Fire responded however the suspect declined medical treatment. Deputies sustained no injuries. Suspects was arrested.
Replica Gun on Metro Property – Suspect Arrested
TSB Deputies responded to 4th Street/Colorado, Downtown Santa Monica Metro Passenger Station regarding a person with a gun call for service. Upon arrival Deputies contacted Metro security who stated, while conducting train sweeps, they contacted an adult male (Suspect) who appeared to be asleep. While contacting the suspect they noticed what looked like the outline of a gun in the suspect’s pants pocket. Metro security detained the suspect. Deputies inspected the firearm and found it to be a BB gun, not a real firearm. The suspect was arrested.
Spousal Assault – Suspect Outstanding
TSB Deputies responded to Hawthorne Metro Passenger Station regarding an assault call for service. Deputies contacted an adult female (Victim) who stated she and her boyfriend (Suspect) were arguing. The argument turned violent when the suspect punched the victim resulting in significant bruising to her left eye. The victim was treated on scene however refused transportation to local hospital. The suspect was located and arrested.
Deceased Person
TSB Deputies responded to 26th Street/Bergamont Metro Passenger Station regarding a deceased person. Upon arrival Deputies were notified that a Metro supervisor was flagged down by an unknown patron regarding an adult, male laying on the platform. Metro Supervisor attempted to contact the person and found him unresponsive. The male was pronounced deceased. LASD Homicide Detectives were notified and responded to the location. The coroner arrived and took possession of the decedent. No foul play was suspected.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon/Box Cutter – Suspect Outstanding
TSB deputies responded to Firestone Passenger Station regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call for service. Deputies contacted a female adult (victim) who stated she was involved in an argument with two female adults (suspects) on the platform (NFD). The victim further stated while sitting on the staircase at the Firestone Passenger Station she was approached by the suspects again. Suspect #1 then pulled out an unknown sharp object and stabbed the victim three times in the right arm and one time in the back. Suspect #2 held the victim down and punched her. The suspects fled the location toward the platform. Suspect #1 was seen on CCTV running on the right-of-way and out of view.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment, where she was treated for four non-life-threatening wounds. The victim was unhoused. The suspects (seen on CCTV) did not appear to be unhoused.
Robbery – Suspect Arrested
TSB Deputies responded to Atlantic Boulevard/Valley Boulevard in the City of Alhambra, regarding a disturbance on a bus call for service. Deputies contacted a male adult (Victim) who stated while on the bus he got into a verbal argument with an male adult (suspect). The suspect punched the victim several times in the face/upper body and forcefully took his cellphone. The victim sustained redness to the face but refused medical treatment. The suspect was arrested.
Grand Theft – Suspect(s) Outstanding
TSB Deputies responded to Centinela Ave/Florence Ave, Inglewood regarding a copper theft call for service. Deputies contacted a Metro Supervisor who stated that unknown suspects cut into a Metro fence line and stole 50 feet of copper wire. The estimated value of the copper wire is $1,500.
