July 16, 2025
Assault with a Deadly Weapon (knife) – Suspect Outstanding
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the area of Compton Avenue and Florence Avenue, Los Angeles regarding an assault with a deadly weapon (knife) call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a male adult (victim) who stated while he was riding the bus he got into a verbal argument with a male (suspect) in the rear of the bus. When the bus operator stopped the bus, the victim approached the operator and asked her to call law enforcement due to the victim being stabbed. The suspect exited the bus and ran eastbound on Florence Avenue and out of view. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the location and transported the victim to a local hospital for further medical treatment. The is no suspect info at this time. The suspect is still outstanding.
Noteworthy Arrest – Indecent Exposure / Annoying Minor
Transit Services Bureau’s (TSB) Special Assignment Unit (SAU)- North, conducted an arrest warrant service operation. They located a suspect who was wanted for annoying a minor and indecent exposure that occurred on May 20th, 2025 at the Lake Metro Passenger Station. The suspected was arrested and booked for the above charges.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Unknown Sharp Object) – Suspect Outstanding
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the area of Bellgrave Avenue and Pacific Avenue, Huntington Park regarding and assault with a deadly weapon call for service. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a female adult (victim) who stated while she was riding the bus a male adult (suspect) hit her on the head with an unknown sharp object. The victim did not see the object but felt something sharp hit her on the head which caused a small superficial wound. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the location and treated the victim for her injury. The victim refused transportation to a local hospital. The suspect exited the bus and left in an unknown direction. Deputy personnel canvased the location for the suspect, but met with negative results. The is no suspect info at this time. The suspect is still outstanding.
Grand Theft (Phone Snatch) – Suspect Arrested
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the area of Swall Drive and Wilshire Boulevard, in the city of Beverly Hills regarding a grand theft call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted a female adult (victim) who stated while she was riding on the Metro Bus a female adult (suspect) snatch her phone from her hand and fled off the bus in an unknown direction. The Beverly Hills Police Department responded and detained the suspect nearby. The victim positively identified the suspect as the person who snatched her phone. The cell phone was recovered from the suspect and returned to the victim. The suspect was arrested and booked for the above charge.

Delaying Metro Rail Operations – Suspected Arrested
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Sierra Madre Metro passenger Station regarding a disturbance on the train. Upon arrival Deputies contacted s female adult (victim) who stated she told a male adult (suspect) to not smoke on the train. The suspect became upset and began yelling at the victim. The suspect left the location on a scooter. A description of the suspect was relayed to the Pasadena Police Department who detained the suspect nearby. The victim was not desirous of prosecution, however due to the suspect actions the Metro Operations were delayed. The suspect was arrested and booked for the delaying Metro Rail Operations.
July 11, 2025
Narcan Deployment – Patient Transported to Hospital
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Wilmington Metro Passenger Station regarding a female adult (patient) acting erratically. Deputies administered one dose of Narcan to assist the patient. Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the location and transported the female to a local hospital for further medical treatment.
Grand Theft (Copper Wire) – No Suspect information
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the area of Graham Avenue and Nadeau Street, Los Angeles regarding a grand theft call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted the Metro Supervisor, who stated that an unknown person had taken 14 feet of exposed copper wire. The supervisor stated it would cost $1,000 to replace and repair the copper wire. No suspect information is available at this time.
Attempted Grand Theft (Copper Wire) – Suspect Arrested
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Detectives conducted an operation on the Metro A-Line between 2100 hours – 0500 Hours focusing on the area of the Florence Metro Passenger Station and the Firestone Metro Passenger Station in Los Angeles. At 0350 hours a male adult was arrested on the tracks and booked for copper theft and possession of burglary tools.

Battery on Police Officer (Hands & Feet) – Suspect Arrested
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Santa Monica Metro Passenger Station regarding the end of line train sweeps call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted a male adult (suspect), who was asleep on one of the trains. The suspect suddenly and without warning punched the Deputy (victim) in the face. Deputies used personal weapons and control holds to secure the suspect and placed him in handcuffs. Deputy personnel transported the suspect to a local hospital for further treatment. The suspect was arrested and booked for the above charge. The Deputy had pain in the face area and was treated at Urgent Care for the injury.
