October 1, 2025
Assault on Metro Contract Security – Suspect Arrested
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Artesia Metro Passenger Station regarding a battery call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted Metro contract security (victim), who stated that a male adult (suspect) was loitering on the platform and asked him to leave. The contract security escorted the suspect off the platform and away from the location. While escorting the suspect off the platform, the suspect turned towards the contract security personnel and punched the victim in the face. The contract security detained the suspect, pending the arrival of deputy personnel. The suspect was arrested for the indicated charges. The victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for minor facial lacerations.
ADW – Suspect Arrested
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to Broadway Blvd and Pacific Av, in the city of Glendale, regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted a male adult (victim) who stated, he sat next to a male adult (suspect) while on board the bus. The suspect became upset that the victim sat near him, and a verbal altercation ensued. The suspect then produced a knife from his backpack and threatened the victim with it. The victim moved away from the suspect and notified law enforcement. The victim pointed out the suspect who committed the assault, that was standing nearby. The Deputies detained the suspect for the assault. The victim suffered no injuries. The suspect was arrested for the indicated charges.

Robbery – Suspect Outstanding
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Rail Operations Center (ROC) lobby regarding a robbery call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted a female adult (victim) who stated, while standing on the train platform, a male adult (suspect) without provocation pushed her from behind causing her to fall onto the platform. The victim said as she fell to the ground, the suspect took the victim’s purse by force from the victim’s grip. The suspect was last seen running from the platform and out of view. A bystander near the station was able to recover the stolen purse and return it to the victim. The victim noticed that several identifiable documents were missing from her purse. A search for the suspect was met with negative results. The victim suffered no injuries. The suspect is still outstanding.
September 29, 2025
Sexual Battery – Suspect Outstanding
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Norwalk Metro Passenger Station regarding a sexual battery call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted a female adult (victim) who stated, while riding the escalator, she noticed a male adult (suspect) behind her. Shortly after, she felt the suspect touch her buttocks over the outer portion of her pants. When they reached the top of the escalator, the suspect walked toward the ‘bus bay’ and out of view. Responding Deputy personnel were unable to locate the suspect. The victim suffered no injuries. The suspect is still outstanding.
Grand Theft – Suspect Outstanding
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Willowbrook Metro Passenger Station regarding a grand theft call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted a female adult (victim) who stated, while standing on the train platform, a male adult (suspect) removed her fanny pack from around her waist without her knowledge. The victim saw the suspect running away with her fanny pack, westbound towards Wilmington Avenue and out of view. Responding Deputy personnel were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is still outstanding.
September 27, 2025
Robbery (Strong-arm) – Subjects Cited
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to Culver City bus bay regarding a robbery call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted Culver City Police officers who were detaining 5 male juveniles (subjects) regarding the robbery. Deputies contacted a female adult (victim) who stated, while onboard the bus, 5 male subjects blocked her path, and pushed her to the ground. The subjects forcefully grabbed her necklace ripping it from her neck. All the juveniles then fled southbound from the location, and were all detained by Culver City Police Department. The victim suffered no injuries. Due to the suspects being juveniles, they were all cited and released under the guidance of a guardian with a promise to appear.

Attempted Robbery – Suspect Outstanding
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to Sunset Blvd and Sunset Plaza Dr, in the city of West Hollywood, regarding an attempt robbery call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted a male adult (victim) who stated, while riding on the bus, a male adult (suspect) attempted to take the victim’s headphones by force. The victim moved away from the suspect and pushed him off using his arms. The suspect then shoved the victim to the side and stepped off the bus. The suspect exited the bus in an unknown direction and out of view. Due to the delay in reporting the incident, TSB Deputies were unable to locate the suspect. The victim suffered no injuries. The suspect is still outstanding.
Battery – Suspect Outstanding
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Atlantic Metro Passenger Station regarding a grand theft report call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted a female adult (victim) who stated, as she was walking off the station platform, a male adult (suspect), who is a stranger to the victim, walked up to her and without provocation, the suspect punched the victim multiple times in the face. The suspect then walked off the platform southbound on Atlantic Blvd. and out of view. The victim suffered a minor scratch and redness on her face and refused medical assistance. A search of the suspect by TSB units met with negative results. The suspect is still outstanding.
Grand Theft (Copper Wire) – Suspect Outstanding
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Lynwood Metro Passenger Station regarding a grand theft report call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted a Metro Supervisor who informed them 45 feet of copper wire was missing from the train tracks. The Metro Supervisor was unable to provide a date for the last track inspection prior to discovering the missing copper wire. The Metro Supervisor estimated the cost of replacing the copper wire to be $2,025.00. TSB Deputies were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is still outstanding.
September 25, 2025
ADW – Suspect Arrested
Transit Services Bureau (TSB) Deputies responded to the Florence Metro Passenger Station regarding a person with a knife call for service. Upon arrival, Deputies were informed the male adult (victim) had already left the location. Deputies were further informed that a male adult (suspect) was still on the platform. Upon contacting the suspect and detaining him, the suspect stated he was involved in a fight with the victim on the platform. The suspect further stated he produced a machete and attacked the victim. The victim was able to disarm the suspect and threw the machete out of the suspect’s reach. Closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage showed the victim suffered injuries to his right hand, but the extent of his injuries is unknown. The suspect was arrested for the charge listed above. The suspect sustained no injuries. The machete was recovered and booked into evidence. The suspect was arrested.
