P.R.I.D.E
Personal Responsibility in Development in Ethics is a 13 week program founded by members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The program targets teens between the ages of 12 to 15 who have dabbled in drugs, graffiti or are defiant either in school or at home. The goal of the program is to help the youth understand the consequences of positive and negative choices in life.

Explorer Program
The Law Enforcement Explorer Program is a Sheriff’s Department youth oriented program. Its primary purpose is to provide, through actual experience, a means by which young men and women may determine if they would like to pursue a career in law enforcement. To qualify you must be between the ages of 14 and 20 years of age, maintain a “C” average in high school and be of good moral character without any serous arrest record.
