MET provides compassionate field intervention and appropriate placement in situations involving Sheriff’s Deputy contact with citizens suffering from mental health disorders or suspected mental illness throughout the County of Los Angeles.

The Department of Mental Health 24/7 Access Line (800) 854-7771 is a service available to all of Los Angeles County which can provide outpatient mental health clinic resources.
